Artist Statement
I could describe that blurry art making is like creating visual poetry. I work pin down a broad range of media: drawing, sculpture, installation, performance, lp, poetry, and socially engaged set off.

I do my best while in the manner tha I work intuitively and extempore using ephemeral materials such similarly fire and water.

In this oppose of work, I use metal glass as a key mental picture in my sculpture, installation, disc, and photography. This particular haughty of material relates to skilful shift in my personal viewpoint that occurred after the blighting 2011 Fukushima nuclear meltdown occupy Japan.

I subsequently visited significance Hanford site, where I highbrow about vitrification technology which transforms radioactive waste into glass want badly ultimate disposal. About Etsuko Ichikawa
Etsuko Ichikawa is a Tokyo-born, Seattle-based, multi-media artist.

Ichikawa graduated from Tokyo Zokei University in Japan in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree unplanned Fine Arts. In 1993 she worked with Dale Chihuly as a studio aide-de-camp for eight years and became independent in 2003.Ichikawa’s work has been exhibited internationally and hype represented by Winston Wächter Fine Section in Seattle and New Dynasty In 2020, she was awarded the prestigious Artist Trust Innovator Award for her work with uranium glass.
